Delete your Cartello account

You can delete your Cartello account and data in the app, or by sending a request below. This applies to Shoppers and Agents, including Agents whose application is under review.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Tap Delete account. The app shows “Checking your account...”.
  3. Read what is erased and what is kept, then tap Continue.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm.
  5. Tap Send code, then enter the SMS code. The code is valid for 5 minutes.
  6. Tap Verify and delete account. You will see “Your account has been deleted”.

If your Agent application is under review or was rejected, the Delete account button is on that screen.

Can’t open the app?

Send a deletion request below. We will contact the phone number on the account to confirm it is you before deleting anything. Nothing is deleted until we have confirmed.

We use these details only to handle your request. We also briefly keep your IP address (no more than 3 hours) to block spam. See our Privacy Policy.

If the form does not work, email contact@cartelloapp.com with the subject “Delete my account” and the phone number on the account.

What we delete

  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Delivery and pickup addresses
  • ID number and ID photos
  • Your name as shown on your ID
  • Your store list
  • Push notification token
  • Photos attached to reports
  • The contents of your support requests, including your name, phone number and message
  • Notes on your carts
  • Rejection reason, if your application was rejected
  • Any waitlist entry that matches your email
  • Your login

Open carts that are awaiting quotes are cancelled, and pending quotes expire.

What we keep and why

Orders, quotes, and payment records stay because accounting and tax law require records of transactions. They are kept without your personal details and appear as “Deleted user”. Records required by law are kept for the period the law requires.

When you can’t delete yet

  • You have an active order. You can delete your account once the order is finished.
  • A payment to you is still on its way to your Whish account. Agents can delete once it has been sent.
  • Your account is suspended. Please contact support at contact@cartelloapp.com.
  • It is a demo or staff account.

After deleting

Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, the same phone number can sign up again as a new account with no history.

Backups and service providers

Some data may remain briefly in backups and with service providers (SMS, email, push notifications) under their own policies.
